Project Overview
BK Doors was appointed to deliver a large-scale cleanroom door installation as part of a major pharmaceutical fit-out for Almac Pharma, one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical development and manufacturing organisations.
Working in partnership with Ardmac, the main contractor specialising in high-spec cleanroom construction, BK Doors supplied, installed, and commissioned 35 Dynaco D313 Cleanroom Doors, including 10 high-pressure airlock systems, all completed to full pharmaceutical validation standards.
Project scope
This project demanded precision engineering, strict contamination control, and seamless coordination across a live construction programme.
The Almac Pharma facility required a door system capable of
- Cleanroom Rapid Roll Doors Supply and installation of 35 Dynaco D313 cleanroom-rated high-performance doors.
- High-Pressure Airlocks Installation of 10 high-pressure airlock door systems for controlled environments.
- Touchless Activation Touch-free door activation to support hygiene and contamination control.
- Battery Backup Systems Battery-backed operation for critical doors during power interruptions.
- Commissioning & Sign-Off Full installation, testing, commissioning, and final client sign-off.
