2012
The Company was founded
BK Doors was established to deliver industrial and commercial door solutions with a strong focus on reliability, safety, and performance. From the outset, the business set out to support complex operational environments where quality and compliance matter.
2015
First Major Industrial Project
BK Doors delivered its first large-scale factory upgrade for Sub-Zero (Exertis) at Raheen Business Park, Limerick.
The project included:
6 high-speed doors
4 fire curtains
4 loading bay systems

Completed over a two-month period, this project marked a key milestone and established BK Doors’ capability in large, time-critical industrial installations.
2017–2020
Cleanroom & Pharmaceutical Expansion
BK Doors began working with Ardmac, Europe’s leading cleanroom manufacturer, supporting multiple specialist projects across Ireland.
During this period, installations were completed for major pharmaceutical clients including Pfizer, Eli Lilly, and TEVA, reinforcing BK Doors’ expertise in controlled, compliant, and hygiene-critical environments.
2020
Long-Term Service Partnerships
The business expanded into major service and maintenance contracts, taking responsibility for ongoing door system support for TEVA Pharmaceuticals and Dawn Meats Group. This shift reflected growing trust in BK Doors’ reliability, response capability, and understanding of operational continuity.
2020–2025
Specialist Systems & Retail Environments
BK Doors introduced the Ladel sliding door and profile system to the Irish market, expanding into premium commercial and retail applications.
Between 2020 and 2025, this system was installed for leading brands including Land Rover, Ford, Centra, and Microsoft, broadening the company’s footprint across automotive, retail, and corporate environments.
